  • Does Tounca have preferred software vendor?
    No, we don’t have preferred software vendor(s). Of course, we cooperate with the biggest software vendors, but also with the small ones. Probably it will be really complicated to find software we don’t work with.
  • May I use Tounca service if I have preferred solution or already have bought solution?
    Of course. Even if we don’t have preferred software vendor(s), if you have preferred one, we can continue in this direction without any problem. Or if you already have some solution and just need someone who will continue to work with this solution or to upgrade it. But if you don’t have preferred solution, we can help you to choose one.
  • How Tounca provides really comparable offers?
    As with our common RFP we can request specific technical expertise, functional knowledge, experience, capability etc. and detailed business requirements, our potential implementers will provide proposals with the same structure. It will promise a real comparability where you can compare estimated time for each of tasks, costs per task, timeline, and due dates, who will work and how they will work… We don’t want to have proposals with some hidden costs, that you are not aware about it.
  • Do we need to pay for Tounca assessment and proposal process?
    No, completely process of assessment and preparation of request for proposal (RFP) as well as choosing the best offer is absolutely free of charge. We just want to help you to be the most satisfy with the solution you chose.
  • How will we find and get experts for the implementation?
    When we collect all your business and technical requirements, we will start with experts matching phase trying to find the most fit experts based on all your requirements. Matching process is combination of our embedded AI tool and our experience. But we still believe in human judgment and because of that we want to collect more different offers, and together with you to find the best.
  • How will we track the project progress?
    When we run the project, all tasks with details will be created on our project embedded management tool. This is place where you will have enabled communication and platform for project documentation. You are someone who will confirm tasks and/or phases when they are finished based on requirements.
  • I have specific requirements regarding language or location
    We are global platform and that means we have experts from all around the world. All our experts have filled in their current location and languages they use. Our embedded AI tool will recommend experts based on your requirements. That means you can require whatever you really need, even combination of locations and languages based on different tasks. For example, you can use developers from any location speaking English language, but you need two financial consultants up to 50km away from you and speaking your local language. That means all combinations are available.
  • May I outsource my accounting department via Tounca?
    Yes, if you need accountant or bookkeeper, or even some other professionals experienced in some specific business applications, you can find them here. Even if you need some specific certifications, just ask.
  • May I find freelancer to engage them on monthly or daily base?
    Yes, you can engage as many experts as you need as freelancers and use them on some specific time frame – monthly, weekly, daily…
  • When I need to pay experts for their engagement?
    Expert will be paid not before you confirm completely (i) phase if this is a project, (ii) task if you asked for only one task or service, or (iii) if you use outsourced experts, after the period of outsourcing is finished. That means experts depend on you. You are someone who need to confirm a job to get experts paid. And you have one more tool in your hands, you will grade an expert and it will be their marketing (positive or negative) in the future. You only need to pay contracted security deposit, and this is something Tounca keeps and guarantees to you and to the expert.
  • Is it possible to ask for refund?
    You can count on refund for all non-confirmed jobs and in a case of project until you confirm whole phase, you are eligible for refund for this whole phase. Your deposit is paid only as security and if you don’t confirm the phase, you are eligible for the refund related with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
  • What if I need specific or awarded expert?
    If you want to engage extremely experienced and awarded expert to get guarantee that you have the best experts, you can do it. You just need to ask, and you will get an MVP or ACE or some other awarded expert.

  • Will Tounca keep my privacy if I’m already employed and want to work as a freelancer?
    If you are an individual expert, during the process you will be asked if you want to be visible only with your username or with full name, keeping your privacy on the highest level. It depends on you how you want to be visible.
  • Do I need new account if I want to work as a freelancer if my account is connected with my company?
    No. Even if your account relates to your company, you can use the same account as a freelancer. Your company will not see details in your account related with your independent work.
  • Why Tounca needs detailed information about me?
    We need all those details because we need all legal information to have for signing contracts. We must guarantee our clients that you are a real person or company.
  • Why Tounca needs information about my bank account?
    We want to pay you as soon as possible. This is a reason why we need details about your bank account. But we don’t require any password or other security information. Your security is the most important for us.
  • How will I be engaged on projects with Tounca?
    If you are chosen for the project engagement or some other engagement, you will get access to the project’s details on our project management online tool. This is place where you will find all dedicated tasks. If you are part of the team, you will also see other member’s tasks.
  • When will I be paid?
    If you are working on the project, immediately when client confirms that project phase is completed, we will start with the payment process from the client’s security deposit. We recommend reading Engagement and Payments Terms, Pricing and Fees Policy and other terms and policies for the details. If you are engaged per task, you will be paid when this task is confirmed by client. If you are engaged on the monthly level, you will be paid after the end of month.
  • How Tounca guarantees that I’ll be paid?
    Before starting with any phase of work, our clients are paying security deposit in the contracted amount for this phase. We are keeping this deposit on the security account to provide security for you.
  • Do I need to pay something?
    No, you are not expected to pay anything. Your membership is free of charge. How does Tounca make money ? Tounca collects a fee from you only when you are paid. Read details about this in the Pricing and Fees Policy and other terms and policies.
  • How will client choose me for the project?
    Based on the client’s requirements, we will create RFP and we will use these information to collect proposals from many of you. We use AI to find the most fit experts for each of the potential project. Your proposal can be for the whole project or for the project part(s) where will create common offering from the virtual team. We will support our client to choose the best offering for them.
  • What if I’m not experienced in business solutions, but I’m programmer?
    Although this is primarily business software project marketplace, if you are experienced programmer in some other programming languages, we encourage you to register. You can often be engaged for some programming tasks for specific projects of customizations or integrations, but you can also be a part of team for development brand new solution as this is something what clients ask from us.
  • I have experience in daily work with some of solutions. May I work with Tounca?
    Of course, you can. You are maybe accountant experienced in work on specific solution, or you are experienced controller or other operator in some of ERP, CRM, HRM, or other solutions, there are many clients ready to engage you and to outsource part of their job to you.
  • How will Tounca manage projects?
    When you are chosen for the project, Tounca Marketplace Platform will automatically create all tasks, WBS, sprints, or similar where you are added for each of task we agreed. Tounca will track project progress and provide support through the project management tool.

    Tounca is a privately held, bootstrapped American Limited-Liability Company with headquarters in Dover, Delaware. We launched Tounca Marketplace Platform as unique global project marketplace for implementation of business solutions. We are point of connection for all businesses who need some business solution and experts all around the world, both companies and individuals.
  • How does Tounca make money?
    Tounca is subscription free platform. That means client will pay only contracted value for project or some other engagement and nothing before signing the project. This value represents only our experts’ expenses. But Tounca needs money for providing platform and all other services. Tounca makes money keeping fees from experts, but only when expert is paid, nothing before.   • Is Tounca somehow connected with BizApps.Wiki ?
    Yes, BizApps.Wiki is first Tounca project. It was an idea to provide and sponsor the free encyclopedia about Business Applications that everyone can use and edit as one common place for all people involved in business solutions. This is our gift to the community.
  • What do you do for security?
    Tounca makes security a top priority. Some things we do to ensure your account safety include requiring HTTPS on all pages and use HSTS to ensure browsers only ever connect to us over a secure connection; storing passwords hashed with the bcrypt algorithm through Azure AD B2C (we never store or log your plaintext password); never sending authentication codes via insecure channels like SMS; encrypting our database; never storing your debit or credit card number.

  • Is Tounca Marketplace Platform integrated with some of ERP or accounting software?
    Currently we don’t have such an integration. But we are committed to provide communication as easier as possible. That means we will start with building these integrations through our APIs. We are still in a research phase what we need to create and soon after that we will start with creation for one-by-one solution.
